Almost deadly coincidence

I was driving my daughter somewhere and was telling her that old people get in accidents making left hand turns because they misjudge the distance of the car coming toward them.

15 seconds later a car turned left in front of me and I had to put on my brakes a little. We laughed.

15 seconds after that a pickup turned left in front of me and I slammed on the brakes and skid some to avoid hitting it. We didn't laugh.

Must be a lot of old people in Jacksonville.

Florida: The land of the newly wed, nearly dead, and almost bled.
